Day 1

ARRIVAL IXB BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – GANGTOK (4 HOURS /120 KMS)

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport you will be received by our executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Mts, 130 Kms / 4-5 Hrs).

Upon arrival proceed to the hotel for check-in; the evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day 2

TSONGMO LAKE + BABA MANDIR EXCURSION (08:00 A.M – 03:30 P.M)

After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tsongmo Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & through Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary and Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tsongmo Lake) (no entry for foreigner national, they can visit till Tsongmo Lake, with a valid permit. They also must be 02 & above in number to visit Tsongmo Lake). The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.

Optional tour to Nathula Pass (The Indo-China border) depends upon the availability of permit which costs an additional of vehicle (Monday and Tuesday the pass is closed) Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Gangtok.

(Incase of Landslide or due to any other reasons if lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided) Supplement cost for Nathula pass will be INR 3500 per vehicle, it will be closed on Monday & Tuesday and subjected to permit availability

Day 3

GANGTOK TO PELLING TRANSFER (4 HOURS / 120 KMS)

After breakfast, transfer to Pelling, Evening free for leisure.

Overnight stay in hotel at Pelling.

Day 4

PELLING SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast start for a full day sightseeing. Visit Rimbi Water Falls, Kanchenjunga falls, Khechopari Lake (it is one of the sacred Buddhist lake and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true). Back to hotel for lunch. After lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace Ruinsover. Overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 5

PELLING TO DARJEELING (3 HOURS / 70 KMS)

After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling

Evening free for leisure at local market.

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 6

DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (04:00 A.M)

Early morning 4 am drive to Tiger Hill (8364 Ft) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga Peak (World’s 3rd highest peak - subject to clear weather), while returning visit to Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasay Loop.

After breakfast at the hotel you will depart for Half day city tour of Darjeeling. This includes sightseeing at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sunday).

Tea Estate, Peace Pagoda and and Japanese Temple (4hrs from 9.00 to 13.00hrs).

Evening free for shopping and personal activities.

Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 7

DARJEELING TO IXB BAGDOGRA AIRPORT DROP (3 HOURS / 70 KMS)

After breakfast at hotel drop to Bagdogra Airport.

As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.

NATHULA PASS

Nathu La is an excursion from Gangtok and is located above Tsongmo Lake. This is a restricted area and special permits are required to visit the same. Permits are granted only between Wednesday and Sunday and can be cancelled anytime for security or weather conditions.

Nathula Pass vehicles are on sharing basis. Very limited number of vehicles are granted permits for Nathu La therefore the same are subject to availability and are never guaranteed in advance. The permits are applied only 01 day prior to the date of travel. Private vehicle is allowed only till the border, post which guests will have to change to the shared vehicle.

Supplement cost for Nathu La will be ₹4000/- per vehicle (cost includes vehicle and individual permits)

Documents – We need full name, age and gender of passengers 02 days prior to travel (by mail or sms).

Copies of valid Indian Photo ID address proof and passport size photos will be collected 01 day prior to the date of travel from the guests directly on tour. Nathula Pass are subject to availability of permits.
