Day 1

KOTTAYAM RAILWAY STATION TO VAGAMON

Pick-up from Kottayam Railway station and drive to Vagamon.

On arrival check-in to your hotel.

Later at your leisure, proceed for Vagamon Lake around 3pm. Check in & Overnight stay @ Vagamon.

Vagamon lake -

Is a tranquil water body amidst three green hills and lush green tea estates that make it one of the most picturesque Vagamon tourist places. The green hills and tea estates provide a stunning backdrop.

Vagamon Lake has got plenty of room for fishing, boating, rowing and other kinds of water activities. The lake is open for all from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. You need tickets for the entrance. The price of tickets for adults is Rs.10/- and Rs.5/- for children.

Day 2

VAGAMON SIGHTSEEING

Vagamon Pine Forest -

An artificial pine forest over 100 acres that houses more than 30 bird species is the major attraction of Vagamon tourist places. If you are seeking tranquility away from the loud streets of the city, pine forests should top your list.

Green Meadows -

Greenery and more of greenery are the main attraction of the place and nowhere you can enjoy it more than Vagamon Natural Green Meadows, a natural lawn area with the awesome wind going around all day long

Parumthupara Viewpoint -

One of the top Vagamon tourist places that provides a spectacular view of Peerumedu hills and surrounding hills. Perfect for hiking, this extreme bumpy corner provides an amazing encounter for both natural as well as encounter fans. Relaxed and silent with awesome, clean wind, this position has limitations as it is quite risky to go beyond a certain range.

Optional Sightseeing on Day 2

Ulupunni Top Station 15kms -

One of the best off-road trails in Kerala. It promises an exhilarating experience with its breathtaking view of green hills and blue reservoirs. Full day sightseeing by Jeep (To be paid at resort – ₹2500/₹4500 per Jeep). Post lunch - visit Green Meadows, Pine Forest. Check in & Overnight stay @ Vagamon.

Day 3

VAGAMON TO THEKKADY

After breakfast, check-out from Winter Vale resort at 10:00 am and proceed to Thekkady, set in the heart of the Cardamom Hills of Kerala. A scenic journey past mist capped mountains, spice plantations and open grasslands lined with spectacular waterfalls & delightful trekking trails form the access to your hide way here. Proceed for a boat safari on the Periyar Lake through Periyar Tiger Reserve extends a lifetime’s chance to spot exotic various wildlife’s in its natural habitat.

Pre-book for Periyar Boating and reach there as per the reporting time. Check-in at resort

Periyar Lake -

This placid lake is located near the Periyar national reserve. Tourists can go for boating and enjoy the serene surroundings. If you are lucky, you may even get a chance to see herds of elephants bathing on the lakeside

Periyar Tiger Reserve -

One of the major attractions in Thekkady is this fantastic sanctuary, which is also a tiger reserve, that is spread across an area of 777 sq. km, around the man-made lake of Thekkady. The sanctuary is also home to the endangered lion-tailed macaque, Nilgiris langur, elephant, sambar, gaur, deer, Indian bison and bear.

Day 4

THEKKADY TO KOCHI AIRPORT

After breakfast, check out from resort and proceed for your return journey.
