Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1
MYSORE – WAYANAD
Pick up from Mysore railway station at 12.20 and
proceed to Wayanad. If time permits visit
Banasura Sagar Dam
-
It is the largest earthen dam in India and the second
largest in Asia and a starting point for
hikes into the surrounding mountains. It is an important tourist attraction.
Overnight stay @
Wayanad.
Day 2
WAYANAD SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed for full day Wayanad
sightseeing visit,
Edakkal Caves -
It is two natural caves with great information
regarding the lives and habits of our ancestors.
The caves can be reached by about 1.5 km uphill trek from the parking area at
the bottom. Most of the trekking path is
cemented and lined up with several shops selling spices, drinks and locally made
handicrafts. The trekking route is covered
with coffee plantations, and it takes around 45 minutes to climb up the hills.
Note: Edakkal caves
open till 4pm only.

Day 3
WAYANAD SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed for
full day wayanad sightseeing visit,
Glass Bridge 900
Kandi Wayanad -
Feel yourself regenerate as you look into the natural
green forest while you walk through this bridge.
The bridge is 100 feet from the ground, so you get a mesmerizing view of the
hills and landscapes. Only four people can walk on the bridge at a time.
Soochipara Falls -
The waterfall cascades from a height of about 200
meters (656 feet) into a pool below. The surrounding cliffs and lush
vegetation add to the scenic beauty of the area.
Longest Zipline &
sky cycle -
If time permits, visit
Pookade lake -
Boating is a popular activity at Pookode Lake,
allowing visitors to explore the lake and enjoy the surrounding scenery
from the water. Pedal boats and rowboats are available for rent at the lake. The
area around Pookode Lake is rich in biodiversity, with a
variety of plant and animal species. Birdwatchers can spot numerous bird species
in the vicinity of the lake.
Evening left for shopping at Vythiri.

Day 4
WAYANAD TO MYSORE
After breakfast, check out from resort & proceed to
Mysore.
Drop at Mysore railway station.
