Simple tips to help you enjoy a comfortable and hassle-free journey
- Carry warm clothing throughout the year, especially for early mornings and evenings.
- A valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) is mandatory for permits to visit Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir - PAN cards are not accepted as ID proof.
- Nathula Pass permits are issued to Indian nationals only; foreign travelers can obtain a permit for Tsomgo Lake only, as a day excursion.
- Start your excursion early, as mountain weather can change quickly and afternoon traffic is common.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes, as many attractions involve steps and uneven pathways.
- Keep some cash handy, as card and UPI payments may not be accepted at remote tourist spots.
- Carry a light jacket, as temperatures are generally cooler than in the plains.
- Visit the Sky Walk and major viewpoints early in the morning for the clearest views of the Kanchenjunga range.
- Wear sturdy footwear for monastery visits and sightseeing, as some areas have steps and sloping paths.
- Weather in the hills can change unexpectedly - carry a small umbrella or rain jacket, especially during the monsoon season.
- Plan to leave early for the Tiger Hill sunrise, as entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Carry warm clothing, gloves, and a cap for the early morning visit to Tiger Hill.
- Explore Mall Road and local markets in the evening for shopping, cafés, and local delicacies.
- Wear comfortable shoes, as many parts of Darjeeling have steep roads and require walking.
- Inner Line Permits (Protected Area Permits) are required for protected areas such as Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass - carry original government-issued photo ID and passport-size photographs.
- Permits are issued only through registered travel agencies for group travel; solo travelers are not permitted, and only authorized local vehicles can proceed beyond Tsomgo Lake.
- Nathula Pass remains closed to tourists on Mondays and Tuesdays; visits are further subject to permit approval, weather, and army clearance.
- Mountain roads are winding - carry motion-sickness medication if you're prone to travel sickness.
- Mobile network connectivity may be limited in remote and high-altitude areas.
- Carry sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm, and a reusable water bottle to stay comfortable at higher elevations.

Payment & Booking Terms

Booking Confirmation
To secure your reservation, an advance payment of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of confirmation. The remaining balance shall be payable prior to departure as per the agreed payment terms
Final Payment
The balance tour cost is payable no later than 10 days before the departure date. Timely settlement of the balance amount is essential for the confirmation of all travel services and arrangements.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation charges, if any, will be applicable as per hotel, transport, sightseeing, and other service provider policies. Any applicable cancellation charges will be communicated at the time of cancellation.
- Eligible refunds, if any, will be processed after receiving the refund from the respective service providers and may take 7-15 working days, subject to supplier processing timelines.
